As you know, the nonprofit sector is under a significant amount of stress providing important community services during the pandemic. What is your advice to nonprofits that are struggling during this time? Ask for help, work with each other, and have a clear message about what community benefit your organization provides.

Why do you think it’s important for nonprofit organizations to be engaged in advocacy work? It is so easy to focus on just addressing today’s issues but the way we truly accomplish significant long term change is by working on tomorrow's problems today. Anytime we can work together to Identify barriers and engaged in meaningful conversation to address those barriers is fantastic!

How can the nonprofit sector help support you in your work with the City of Findlay? The nonprofit sector Is critical to a well-rounded community. Whether it is supporting the needs of citizens that government cannot easily address, providing social opportunities, or advocating for change they provide critical support to our community.
